Prior to the by-election that will take place in the Assin North Constituency in the Central Region, the Coalition of NABCO Trainees has hinted at organizing a protest against the in power New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The group feels betrayed because the ruling party did not pay their allowances after they left the program.
The group did not provide a precise date for the demonstration in a statement dated May 29, 2023, signed by its National Secretary, Frank Quansah.
However, the statement made it clear that the protest will take place before the by-elections, which the Electoral Commission would organize.
