The Immigration Service thanked the public for their unwavering support and advised people to be watchful and notify law enforcement of any questionable activity by any foreigners in their areas.

Since harbouring illegal immigrants is forbidden by section 52(1)(b) of the Immigration Act 2000 Act 573, the Service specifically advises landlords and property owners to use caution while renting out their homes to foreign individuals.

It guaranteed that “the Comptroller General of Immigration and Management of the Service remain committed to protecting the territorial integrity of the country and ensuring compliance with Immigration Laws at all times.”
