The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes to 6,867 trained nurses and midwives ahead of their mandated national service in 2026/2027.
On Monday, January 19, 2026, the Authority announced that qualified workers can get their PIN codes through the official NSA website (https://gnsa.gov.gh/) by entering their student ID numbers and date of birth.
This begins the enrolment process for newly qualified nurses and midwives across the country.
To register, candidates must pay a cost of GH¢41 using MTN Mobile Money. Registration commenced immediately following the announcement and will close on January 23, 2026.
To avoid being excluded from this year’s deployment, the NSA asked all qualified candidates to finish the process within the allotted time.
The message further reminded the public that all Ghanaian nationals aged 18 and older who have finished accredited postsecondary education, including Nursing Training Colleges, are required to perform national service under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119).
