Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, has predicted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former vice president, will win 14 of the 16 regions in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries, which are set for Saturday, January 31.

Additionally, he forecast that Dr. Bawumia would win handily in the party’s heartland, the Ashanti Region.

Mussa Dankwah stated, “Yes, [Bawumia will win in 14 regions out of 16 regions],” during an appearance on Channel One TV’s The Point of View with Bernard Avle on Wednesday, January 28.

According to Mussa Dankwah, there is no doubt that the former vice president won.

“All the areas we have looked at are pointing in one direction, and that direction is that Bawumia will win this Saturday’s election one-touch,” he stated.

Mussa Dankwah states that the Global InfoAnalytics model, which accounts for a three percent margin of error, estimates Dr. Bawumia’s vote share at between 54 and 60 percent.

He clarified, “Based on our model, his lowest score will be 54 percent, which is the 57 percent we are giving him minus the three percent margin of error, or he could get up to 60 percent.”

He ascribed the projection’s confidence to the data’s consistency.

“I am very confident in Bawumia’s numbers because they are more stable in terms of variability. There is no noise in the data,” he continued.

Mussa Dankwah pointed out that although other candidates, such as Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and Dr. Bryan Acheampong, might perform better, it is still unclear how they will divide up the votes.

Between January 20 and January 23, 2026, 10,133 people nationally participated in the NPP 2026 Presidential Primaries Prediction Survey.

The country’s 272 constituencies and all 16 regions were included in the survey.
