Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Minister of Works and Housing Ghana, was accompanied by the deputy minister, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui, Ghana Water Limited’s managing director, Adam Mutawakilu, and officials from the ministry and Ghana Water Limited on a working visit to the Weija Treatment Plant yesterday.

The purpose of the tour was to learn about the plant’s operations and issues, as well as to determine what expansion work will be needed in the medium term.

In his briefings, the sector minister recognised the lack of water service in some sections of Accra and assured that immediate effort is being made to restore water flow in affected regions.
