A vehicle suddenly caught fire in the center of traffic on Ring Road in Osu, Accra, spreading shockwaves and thick smoke over the bustling neighbourhood.
Officers from the Ghana Police Service rushed in to calm the throng and secure the area until firefighters arrived to tackle the fire.
Although no casualties have been reported, the vehicle was severely damaged as a result of the event, which temporarily delayed traffic.
