Amasaman Fire Station personnel successfully rescued 21 persons stuck in their homes when severe flooding struck Doblogonno New Site during a strong downpour on June 4, 2026.
Under the direction of ADO I Aduamah Richard Ntow, the firefighters quickly responded to a distress call and removed 10 males and 11 girls from the afflicted location.
Numerous residences were flooded and personal possessions were damaged, despite the fact that no casualties were reported.
The Ghana National Fire Service has advised locals to stay vigilant when it rains a lot and to move to safer locations when there is a possibility of flooding.
