The Miss Teen Tourism World 2023 competition was won by 15-year-old Petra Adjeiwaa Adjei-Kumi, Miss Teen Tourism Earth Ghana.
She ‘outwitted’ rivals from other regions of the world to take the title and honor Ghana.
Miss Petra won the competition as best in national costume, best in evening wear, and first runner-up in talent at the event, which was recently held at the La Palm Royal Beach hotel in Ghana.
She demonstrated thorough understanding of the local and global dynamics of tourism in all of the activities.
Petra, a student from Roman Ridge School majoring in Triple Science, Additional Mathematics, and Computer Science, dazzled the judges and audience with her distinctive oratory talents.
She ultimately won the worldwide competition, which was previously won by another Ghanaian, Calista Amoateng in the Philippines, last year.
The Chief of Staff of Ghana, Madam Akosua Frema Opare, the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr. Akwesi Agyemang, and other high officials attended the ceremony.
