Martin King Arthur, also known as Kofi Kinaata, is a musician, rapper, and composer from Ghana. He was born on April 15, 1990, in the Takoradi neighborhood of Effiakuma, Ghana’s Western Region.
Kinaata studied construction and building technology at Takoradi Technical Institute. However, he decided to pursue a career in the field because of his love of music.

In 2009, Kofi Kinaata began performing as a member of the Takoradi-based band Highgrade Family. In 2015, he dropped “Made in Taadi,” his debut solo track, which went viral in Ghana.
For his popular song “Susuka,” Kinaata received Songwriter of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2016. He received the same honor for his song “Confession” the following year.
The successful songs “Sweetie Pie,” “Time No Dey,” “The Whole Show,” “Things Fall Apart,” and “Behind the Scenes” were all released by Kinaata. Along with these musicians, he has also worked with Samini, Sarkodie, and Shatta Wale from Ghana.


In addition to music, Kinaata has taken part in a number of charitable endeavors. In 2018, he founded the Team Move Foundation with the goal of aiding disadvantaged youngsters in Ghana.
The Ghana Music Honors, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, and 3Music Awards are just a few of the nominations and awards Kofi Kinaata has received. He is regarded as one of Ghana’s top songwriters and is still a major player in the country’s music scene.
