Lawyers assigned to examine important laws in the field met with Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP), the Hon. Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, yesterday.
Through this project, Ghana’s laws will be in line with new developments in technology and trends, encouraging innovation and expansion in the digital economy.
The attorneys have two weeks to provide a zero draft of the legislation under review for the Minister’s scrutiny.
This draft will be the starting point for more stakeholder involvement and improvement, which will eventually result in the creation of thorough and useful legislation that supports Ghana’s strategy for digital transformation.
The program is dedicated to establishing a supportive atmosphere for the growth of the ICT industry.
