Kwabena Adjei, 26, has been taken into custody by the police for allegedly killing his fiancée and burying the body in a septic tank at Sunyani Magazine, which is close to the Bono Regional Fire Command.
The guy eventually turned himself in to the police with his uncle by his side, claiming that the ghost of his 19-year-old Nigerian girlfriend, Testimony, was pursuing him.
Following a misunderstanding, Adjei allegedly elbowed his lover, causing her to lose consciousness and pass away immediately.
ADOll Ignatius Noekor, the Ghana National Fire Service’s (GNFS) Sunyani Municipal Operations officer, verified the report to the Ghanaian Times.
He stated that the girlfriend’s body was left in his room for three days by the suspect before being dumped in a septic tank on Friday, where it was discovered to have fully decomposed.
ADOll Noekor also disclosed that the GNFS was notified by the police to help remove the body from the septic tank. They accomplished this by running water down the building so the body would float.
The GNFS Sunyani Municipal Operations officer stated that the suspect was currently being held by the police to aid in the investigation.
According to ADOII Noekor, this was Testimony’s second visit to the suspect prior to her passing.
