Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake, has become the most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify Nigeria.
To commemorate its fifth anniversary in Nigeria, the streaming giant produced a list of the top five most-streamed musicians of all time.
Asake topped the list, followed by Wizkid and Seyi Vibez in second and third place, respectively.
Burna Boy finished fourth, with Davido taking fifth place.
The global streaming giant also revealed the most-streamed tracks of all time on Spotify Nigeria.
Asake also topped the list, with his song ‘Remember’ at number one.
Ayo Maff and Fireboy’s ‘Dealer’, Fido’s ‘Awolowo’, Wizkid’s ‘Kese’, and Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ are ranked second, third, fourth, and fifth.
Ruger’s ‘Asiwaju’ was among the most-streamed songs of all time on Spotify Kenya. Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush’, Fireboy’s ‘Bandana’, and Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ are ranked 1, 2, 3, and 5, respectively.
Kenyan musician Bein’s hit song ‘Inauma’ finished fourth.
On Spotify Ghana, ‘Wotowoto Seasoning’ by Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, featuring Ghanaian star Black Sherif, topped the all-time most-streamed song chart.
Asake’s ‘Lonely At The Top’ came in second, with Black Sherif’s songs taking third, fourth, and fifth place.
