On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the High Court’s Human Rights Division heard two motions in the matter of Kenneth Ofori-Atta v. Office of the Special Prosecutor.
The motions for (a) findings and (b) permission to amend the original motion on notice were made by Mr. Ofori-Atta’s attorney. OSP counsel opposed both applications.
The Court instructed both parties to file and turn in their written arguments by October 24, 2025, at midnight.
The case has been adjourned to November 25, 2025, in order to decide on the two applications.
The former Finance Minister and suspect in several OSP investigations filed the lawsuit, contesting the Office’s designation of him as “wanted” and the Office’s legal right to make such statements public.
