The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture has received substantial gifts from corporate organizations and partner agencies in support of the 41st National Farmer’s Day.
The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hon. Emelia Arthur, accepted the contributions on behalf of the Ministry and extended heartfelt gratitude to the donors.
She stated that these gifts, both in cash and vital equipment, will go a long way toward assisting fishermen, increasing morale, and developing Ghana’s fisheries and aquaculture sectors.

Donations received include:
• Beacon Fish Feed – 100 bags of fish feed
• Raanan Fish Feed – 30 bags of fish feed
• CCT Group Limited – Fishing inputs valued at GHS 110,472
• Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) – GHS 200,000 to support the 2025 Best National Fisherman
• Japan Motors – Outboard motors, motorcycles, and a water pump
Hon. Emelia Arthur stated that business backing like this strengthens the country’s commitment to sustainable fisheries development and that fishermen continue to be essential to Ghana’s fisheries value chain and livelihood economy.
