With 25 points, the Ghanaian Black Stars won Group I, and Madagascar came in second with 19 points.
Comoros ended fourth with 15 points, while Mali came in third with 18.
Chad finished last with one point, whereas the Central African Republic earned eight.
The team that defeated the Central African Republic 5-0 had various changes made by coach Otto Addo. Gideon Mensah and Caleb Yirenkyi were benched, and Ebenezer Annan and Alidu Seidu were back in the starting lineup.
The Black Stars had a thrilling start to the game, with the home crowd supporting them while the away team was under constant pressure from the halfway line.
Anzimati Aboudou, the custodian for Comoros, did make some outstanding stops when it counted most to keep the score tied at the interval.
The Black Stars got off to a strong start in the second half and were rightfully ahead in the 47th minute thanks to a close-range tap-home goal from Kudus.
Ghana dominated the game, and Comoros couldn’t put goalie Benjamin Asare to the test because he was having a great game.
Comoros was unable to take advantage of several half-chances as Ghana held on to win all three points, despite a late surge of pressure to equalise.
The Black Stars of Ghana would find out their group opponents on December 5, 2025, when the draw would be held at the John F. Kennedy Centre for Performing Arts in Washington, USA, following their qualification.
