Ghana and Grenada’s first round of political consultations formally began yesterday, Thursday, October 16, 2025.
In his introductory remarks, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, noted the historical links between Ghana and Grenada and reaffirmed Ghana’s resolve to further fortify such ties.

The Honourable Joseph Andall, Grenada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Export Development, said that the private sector might investigate trade and investment prospects in both nations.
Comprehensive talks on collaboration between the two parties are anticipated in a number of areas, including trade and investment, tourism, health, education, culture and the creative arts, and climate change and disaster management.
