The Ghana Police Service has arrested Sibamay Zakaria, a suspect who was captured in a viral video allegedly assaulting another suspect.
The arrest follows an earlier police manhunt for Zakaria after a video circulated widely on social media showing him allegedly slapping a pastor who had reportedly made inciting comments concerning the Islamic religion.

Meanwhile, the Police Professional Standards Bureau has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
