Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications, has stated that President John Dramani Mahama will undertake a statewide engagement tour, known as the “Resetting Ghana” initiative, which begins on March 18.
The President is anticipated to lead ministries and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) in direct engagement with citizens, traditional leaders, and important stakeholders around the country.
“The objective is to engage the people, listen to their concerns, and keep them informed about what government is doing,” he told me.
The tour will begin in the Bono Region, with additional stops planned throughout other regions.
He made this statement on Tuesday, March 17, during a business visit to his presidential office by Vice President Prof. Naana Jane.
The tour is a part of larger initiatives by the Mahama administration to improve accountability, openness, and public involvement in governance, the government communication spokesperson continued.
