The asset recovery and management team of the Office of the Special Prosecutor has seized a number of items from the Trassaco home of Nana Yaw Duodu, also known as Dr. Sledge, the CEO of Goldridge Company Limited, including jewellery, weapons, luxury cars, and documents pertaining to landed properties.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the OSP searched his home and confiscated the materials.

Authorities from the OSP also searched the company’s East Legon offices.

The searches were carried out in connection with ongoing investigations into possible corruption and offences related to corruption connected to the gold trade program of the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF).

A post on the OSP’s X account on Wednesday, October 29 stated that the searches were conducted using warrants that the Accra High Court had issued.

Due to potential corruption and corruption-related offences connected to the Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) gold trade scheme, which allegedly cost the State US$94 million, Nana Yaw Duodu is being investigated.

The OSP apprehended Dr. Sledge Nana Yaw Duodu in September 2025 so that he might be questioned. After failing to comply with the terms of his bail, he was placed under arrest but was subsequently freed.
