Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has opened up about his recent health challenges, revealing that he has prayed for God to take him when his time comes rather than allow him to become a burden to his loved ones.

He stressed that he does not want his family, friends or caregivers to suffer because of his condition.
“Sitting down here, I’m not very well myself. I’m not. Walking is a problem for me now. I still have hope that I will recover.”
He further explained that he sometimes wakes up with swelling in different parts of his body, adding that the swelling eventually goes down.
Pete Edochie said:
“I just keep asking God, you are the offer of life. Whenever you feel it’s time for me to go, just take me. Don’t let me bother the people who are around me.”
