The Republic of Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to warn the public, especially young Ghanaians, against the actions of people and organisations connected to QNET and related programs.

The Ministry is concerned about the growing number of Ghanaians being enticed to leave the country under false pretences, such as promises of jobs, business possibilities, and help obtaining European visas.

Numerous victims of these fraudulent schemes have been left stranded, imprisoned by foreign immigration authorities, or exposed to harsh and exploitative conditions overseas.

Therefore, before making any financial commitments or travelling outside of Ghana, members of the public are strongly recommended to exercise great caution and to confirm all travel, recruitment, and business proposals through authorised and official means.

The Ministry calls on community leaders, parents, and guardians to assist in raising public awareness of the risks connected to such schemes.

Consulartn mfa.gov.gh, +233204552750, or the appropriate security and immigration authorities should be contacted as soon as possible to report suspicious activity to the Ministry.

The Ministry is still dedicated to collaborating with pertinent national agencies to safeguard Ghanaian citizens’ welfare and stop criminal networks from preying on gullible people.
