The ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Dhakel, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), discussed the impending visit of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Bin Abdul-Karim Al-Khereiji, who will be leading the Saudi side during the two sides’ political consultations.
Cooperation in the fields of education, air travel, the energy sector (oil and gas), and collaboration with the King Salman Institute are anticipated to be the main topics of discussion.
Ghana’s assistance at international bodies such as the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) was acknowledged by the ambassador.
A business delegation from the Kingdom would accompany the vice minister for a business-to-business meeting with their Ghanaian counterparts in order to strengthen collaboration between the two countries’ commercial sectors.
