Today, March 11, 2025, Dr. Cassiel Ato Baah Forson, Minister of Finance, gave Parliament the government’s Business Statement and Economic Policy for the fiscal year that ends on December 31, 2025.
Since taking office on January 7, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama has issued this budget for the first time.
In accordance with Article 179 of the 1992 Constitution, the presentation is anticipated to provide an overview of the government’s economic recovery plan as Ghana navigates what the administration has called an economic crisis.
