The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, under the direction of Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, organised a historic “Journey to Nkroful” pilgrimage as part of NkrumahFest 2025 to honour the life and legacy of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
In addition to tours to cultural sites including Fort Apollonia, Bisa Aberwa Museum, and Essepong Beach Resort, the three-day event included a spectacular durbar in Nkroful and interactions with cultural and tourism organisations.
In addition to stressing the importance of tourism in conserving Ghana’s rich legacy, the pilgrimage underlined Dr. Nkrumah’s continuing goal of togetherness, cultural pride, and African self-determination.
