Mobile money transactions amounted to GH¢3.6 trillion in the first 10 months.

The overall value of mobile money transactions hit GH¢3.6 trillion in the first 10 months of 2025, ended October.

Following the Monetary Policy Committee meeting last week, the Bank of Ghana issued its most recent Economic and Financial Data.

The statistic shows the sum reported by telecom carriers to the Bank of Ghana covering transactions from January to October 2025.

Strong month-over-month increase this year is also highlighted in the report, with transactions totaling GH¢406 billion in September and GH¢436 billion in October.
