The Nursing Training College, Techiman Krobo has been temporarily closed with immediate effect till further notice, as the Ministry of Health wishes to notify students, parents, guardians, employees, and the general public.

This decision was made in response to recent discontent and a breakdown in the College’s rules and regulations.

Some students have persisted in engaging in behaviour that interferes with academic activities and jeopardises the institution’s peace, safety, and orderly administration despite multiple meetings, counselling sessions, and requests from stakeholders, including the Ministry and the Regional Security Council, to promote communication and restore order.

The purpose of the interim closure is to maintain order, safeguard people and property, and give the relevant authorities time to evaluate the situation and decide how best to reopen the college under favourable circumstances.

Today, Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM, all students are instructed to peacefully leave the school and go back to their individual houses. It is recommended that guardians and parents make the appropriate preparations for their children.
