The Ashanti Regional Fire Commander, ACFO I Henry Fatai Giwah paid a visit to the Manhyia Fire Station
This was to check on the 2 Operational Firefighters who got injured when broken rafters fell on their lower backs from the ravaged roofs during last Wednesday evening’s intense firefighting at the affected office spaces on the first floor of the building occupied by the Ghana Railway Company Limited at Adum in Kumasi.


The affected 2 Officers namely, STNO II Kusi Anane and LFM Attah Boateng Maxwell, both Stationed at the Manhyia Fire Station who are feeling better now, were on last Wednesday evening, sent to the Manhyia Hospital for treatment and are billed to go for a review at a later date.
The Regional Fire Commander upon the visit, empathized and reassured them of the Command’s and Chief Fire Officer’s continuous resolve in giving them the needed assistance and ensuring their full recovery and praised the entire crew who at the peril of their lives, fought and subdued the blaze that affected only 3 offices on the first floor of the Kumasi Railway Police Station building.
