Emmanuel Kofi Aduamah, 38, has been taken into custody by police in Koforidua Agartha Market, New Juabeng South Municipal, Eastern region.
He is suspected of robbing his former lover (name withheld) at her home in Nsawam.
Emmanuel is known for being a gigolo who entices wealthy single mothers to marry him. He then stays at the woman’s home to get to know them for however long he needs to in order to keep an eye on his victim’s movements and makes plans on how to successfully rob them of their valuables.
He then typically executes his plans without the alleged girlfriend present!
He has also been implicated in a number of recent robbery instances, a fuel station, and a mobile money vendor in Somanya who was robbed of his company capital, which was approximately 20,000 Ghana cedis.
Some parents who claim to be victims of his illegal actions also claim that Emmanuel has been teaching schoolchildren in his neighborhood how to successfully con people without getting caught.
Former prisoner Emmanuel Kofi Aduamah was well-known for using some market women’s credit to purchase food items including rice, tomatoes, red oil, and other items at Nsawam and never paying it back.
From then on, his victims have been on a manhunt for him because he only sleeps late at night and disappears before dawn.
But bad luck escaped him when, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Adweso, the Koforidua police apprehended him following a tip.
The Koforidua police claim that plans are in place to turn him over to the Nsawam police headquarters so that he can face charges.
