Osei Kwame Despite (born 2 February 1962) is a Ghanaian business magnate and entrepreneur.
He is the founder and CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, which includes a number of media and entertainment companies, as well as businesses in real estate, banking, and other industries.

Despite was born in Wiamoase in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He started his career as a petty trader, selling music cassettes on the streets of Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. He later moved into importing and selling other goods, including electronic appliances and clothing.
In 1999, Despite founded the Peace FM radio station, which quickly became one of the most popular radio stations in Ghana. He went on to establish several other media and entertainment companies, including UTV, Okay FM, Neat FM, and Peacefmonline.com.


Despite has also ventured into other industries, including real estate, banking, and automobile sales. He owns the Best Point Savings and Loans company and the Neat Foods Company, which produces a popular brand of breakfast cereals in Ghana.
Despite’s success as an entrepreneur has earned him numerous awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2011. He is also known for his philanthropic activities, and has donated generously to several charitable causes and organizations in Ghana.
