With immediate effect, the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School in the Western area has been detained for charging unlawful fees.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has requested that Headmaster Kenneth Agbomodze transfer control of the institution to the Western Regional Director of Education.
The investigative committee has been given two weeks to present its report to management, according to a statement from the GES, thus his interdiction is still under investigation.
Kenneth Agbomodze, the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School, has been placed under immediate administrative suspension by the Management of GES, according to the statement, awaiting further investigation into an alleged illicit fee collecting at the school.
Agbornodze must relinquish control of the school’s management to the Western Regional Director of Education.
It further stated that Management has been given two weeks to review the investigative committee’s report.
