A team led by Hon. Emelia Arthur, Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, visited seven coastal settlements in the Western Region’s Ahanta West Municipality yesterday, Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
The participation was a component of continuing discussions on the creation of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and other important matters pertaining to fishing.
Members of the MPA Committee and the Ahanta West Municipal Chief Executive accompanied the Minister.

Princess Town
Aketakyi
Cape Three Points
Akwidaa
