The Economic and Organized Crime Office conducted a legitimate search of a house in Trassaco Valley Phase 1 in Accra in June of this year in response to a 2023 request from the US Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
The FBI and the Justice Department have linked the proceeds of a 2019 Lamborghini Urus that was found and seized as a result of an operation carried out by EOCO’s Surveillance And Asset Recovery Unit (SARU) to the criminal enterprise of a man named Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month sentence for a number of financial crimes in the US.

The search and seizure went smoothly, and the cops were courteous and professional.
