Some oil marketing companies (OMCs) began increasing fuel prices at the pumps yesterday, March 3, 2026.

This is consistent with industry estimates of a 1% to 3% increase in petroleum product costs per litre.

On March 2, 2026, Joy Business found that GOIL increased petrol prices to GH¢10.46 per litre, up from the previous price of GH¢10.24.

Diesel is still priced at GH¢ 12.53.

According to GOIL, these numbers represent the lower rates available at 200 service stations across the country.

This implies that other GOIL stations may have greater prices.

The development also demonstrates that GOIL has priced diesel over the floor of GH 11.42 while adhering to the price floor for petrol set by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
