President Akufo-Addo’s convoy was engaged in an accident at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region while returning from the funeral of the late Ejisu MP John Kumah. One person is confirmed deceased and several others are critically injured.
According to reports, the collision happened when a KIA truck drove across a speeding convoy.
President Akufo-Addo was not in the convoy when the incident occurred.
According to additional reports, two wounded military officers affiliated with the presidency were taken to Accra for additional medical attention.
