The well-known Nigerian actress Annie Idibia, who is the estranged spouse of musician Innocent Idibia, better known by her stage name 2Face, has returned to using her given name.
After getting married in 2012, the couple split up in January 2025.
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, Annie, who has been quiet since 2Face posted their split on his Instagram profile, went back online and removed all of the content from her page.
She did, however, break her silence following the removal of the posts by using her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay, instead of 2Face’s last name.
“To my family and friends who came through for me, the support system I have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world, God bless you for the outpouring of love.”
“I appreciate every single one of you, and I don’t take any of it for granted; may the universe continue to be in your favor. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay,” she wrote while appreciating her followers and the public for standing by her during her trying times.
However, she is yet to remove Idibia from her profile.
Her profile still reads ‘Annie Idibia1.’
