The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Northern Regional Office, under the direction of Abdulai Mutawakil, Regional Manager, has declared that starting on May 1, 2023, it will launch an operation to crack down on unlicensed drivers in the Tamale city.
This was communicated by the local DVLA in a letter dated April 26, 2023. The Regional Minister and the Regional Commander of the Police received copies of the letter.
No exceptions will be allowed throughout the exercise, according to the letter.
