Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), has sent special investigative and intelligence officers from Accra to Cape Coast in order to support continuing police operations and active investigations into the death of Innocentia Avinu, a University of Cape Coast student.
The deployment is a component of the Ghana Police Service’s larger operational reaction to guarantee a comprehensive and well-coordinated investigation procedure in the area.
In order to bolster fact-finding operations and offer more technical and intelligence support locally, the team is anticipated to collaborate closely with regional command structures.
