The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to commission its new Atebubu Office in the Bono East Region as part of efforts to improve access to driver and vehicle licensing services in the area.
The commissioning ceremony is scheduled to take place in Atebubu on September 2, 2026, bringing together officials of the DVLA, traditional leaders, government representatives and the Member of Parliament for Atebubu Amantin.

The event will feature the participation of several prominent officials, including:

New DVLA Office to Improve Services in Atebubu
The establishment of the DVLA Atebubu Office is expected to make driver licensing, vehicle registration and other related services more accessible to residents within Atebubu and surrounding communities.
The development forms part of efforts by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Ghana to strengthen its presence across the country and improve the delivery of services to motorists and vehicle owners.
The commissioning of the facility is also expected to support more efficient vehicle registration, driver’s licence services and road transport administration in the Bono East Region.
