The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned maintenance exercise in parts of the Ashanti Region aimed at improving electricity supply and service delivery.
The scheduled ECG maintenance works will lead to a temporary power outage in several communities on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
According to the electricity distributor, the maintenance exercise will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., during which customers in the affected areas may experience an interruption in power supply.
