The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of the Eastern Region as part of planned maintenance works aimed at improving electricity supply and service delivery.
The maintenance exercise will temporarily interrupt power supply to several communities on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
According to ECG, the planned electricity interruption will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., during which technicians will carry out essential maintenance activities to enhance the reliability of the power distribution network.

ECG Appeals for Public Cooperation
The Electricity Company of Ghana has apologised to customers and residents in the affected areas for the inconvenience the planned maintenance exercise may cause.
Residents, businesses and other electricity consumers in the listed communities are encouraged to make the necessary preparations ahead of the scheduled power interruption.
Customers who depend on electricity for commercial activities, household operations and essential services are advised to plan accordingly to minimise disruptions during the maintenance period.
ECG says the exercise forms part of its ongoing efforts to improve electricity distribution, strengthen power supply reliability and enhance service delivery to consumers.
