Ghanaian broadcast journalist, news anchor, and media figure Nana Aba Anamoah. On June 19, 1978, she was born in Accra, Ghana.

She proceeded to Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School before continuing her education at the Ghana Institute of Journalism, where she majored in journalism and received a degree in Communication Studies.

Initially, Nana Aba Anamoah worked as a presenter on the student-oriented Campus Edge program on Accra’s Charterhouse-owned Choice FM. She spent roughly ten years as a news anchor and producer for TV3 after her time on Campus Edge.

In 2014, Nana Aba Anamoah made a switch to GH One TV, where she worked as a news anchor and the host of the station’s flagship talk show, State of Affairs.

In 2019, she joined EIB Network as the General Manager of GhOne TV and Starr FM. She was also the host of the station’s morning show, “Cheers” until she resigned in March 2021.

Throughout her career, Nana Aba Anamoah has won several awards, including the Radio and Television Personality of the Year Award at the 2017 and 2019 editions of the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.

She is also an advocate for women’s rights and empowerment and has used her platform to speak out against gender-based violence and discrimination.
