Internal auditors in the Ashanti Region will upgrade their skills

To improve the abilities of newly hired internal auditors in the various Metropolitan Municipal District Assemblies (MMDAs) throughout the Ashanti Region, the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council has arranged a workshop for December 1, 2022.

The program, titled “Capacity Building Workshop on Internal Auditing for New Appointed Internal Auditors,” is scheduled to take place at an undisclosed hotel in the Kumasi metropolis.

The Chief Director for the Ashanti Regional Minister, Mrs. Emelia Ayebeng Botchwey, announced the training program in a letter dated November 10, 2022. The workshop is intended to orient the officials in the internal auditing rules, procedures, and their role in the MMDAs.

According to the announcement, the workshop will be organized in collaboration with GIZ as part of capacity building’s accountability and resource governance component.
