Nigerian music star Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, has revealed that he intends to conduct a DNA test to confirm the paternity of any child he has in the future.
The “Body Cheche” hitmaker made the revelation during a recent episode of the In My Opinion podcast, where he discussed his views on relationships, marriage and fatherhood.
Mayorkun Plans Prenuptial Agreement and DNA Test
According to Mayorkun, he has already informed his girlfriend that he intends to sign a prenuptial agreement (prenup) before they get married.
He also said he plans to conduct a DNA paternity test whenever she gives birth to a child, explaining that he wants to establish biological paternity before accepting responsibility.
The Nigerian singer acknowledged that his position did not sit well with his girlfriend.
“I told my girlfriend we’d have to do a prenup and DNA test when she gives me a child, just to be sure. She got upset,” Mayorkun said.
The singer added that he had even considered conducting the DNA test without informing his partner.
