Registration for the 2025–2026 service year will commence on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and finish on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, according to the National Service Scheme (NSS).
Following the suspension of the previous Central Service Management Platform due to data integrity concerns, the NSS announced in a statement that all potential service members must register via its recently opened official website, www.gnsa.gov.gh.
The scheme claims that after a technical and forensic examination of the old portal turned up inconsistencies, a more transparent and safe digital platform was created to guarantee accountability and verification in real time.
With service officially starting on Monday, November 3, 2025, all national service members are expected to report to their designated institutions on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Through improved IT reforms and cooperation with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department, the NSS reassured staff that steps have been taken to stop payroll theft and guarantee timely payment of allowances.
In order to give graduates more varied career options, the Scheme also highlighted new activities under its reforms, such as collaborations in the private sector, skills development, and agriculture.
