Ghana coach Otto Addo believes the Black Stars can beat each of their World Cup group stage opponents.

The four-time African champions have been drawn against 1966 World Cup winners England, 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia, and lowly-ranked Panama.

Otto Addo responded to the draw on Friday evening at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in the United States, saying, “surely we’ll take it match by match. “We want to win every match, that is for sure,” in an interview with TV3.”

“Like I said, once we get a good start, anything is possible. On a good day, I know we can beat anyone. But I also know that we can lose against all of those teams, including Panama.”

The Black Stars’ World Cup campaign will begin with a match against Panama, followed by group matchups against Croatia and England.

Ghana hasn’t advanced past the group stage since 2010 and has lost both of their World Cup group stages.
