The Ministry of Education has welcomed a proposed collaboration between the Student Loan Trust Fund and renowned dancehall rapper Shatta Wale as part of festivities commemorating the Fund’s 20th anniversary.
The Fund’s Board and Management met at the Ministry to discuss the collaboration. They looked at ways to use the artist’s influence to increase public awareness and involvement, especially among young people.
Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education, praised the initiative and emphasised that it is in line with larger efforts to increase outreach and visibility of the Fund’s work, as it continues to play a crucial role in assisting students in pursuing higher education and achieving their academic objectives.
Shatta Wale emphasised the significance of education in forming the future, pointing out that the partnership offers a chance to significantly improve the lives of students nationwide.
