President John Dramani Mahama marked his 67th birthday yesterday, Saturday, November 29, 2025, by visiting children’s wards in two Accra-area hospitals to share joy and support to the young patients and their families.
The president, joined by his wife and children, paid visits to the LEKMA Hospital and Maamobi Polyclinic, where he presented each kid getting treatment and their parents with various presents and cash.
President Mahama also thanked the medical team and provided them with monetary presents in recognition of their dedication.
The birthday visit brought smiles to the cheeks of young patients and their families, who thanked the president for his compassionate gesture.
President Mahama helped a young girl at LEKMA Hospital get referred to UGMC for additional care.
The president was thanked by the staff at both facilities for recognizing their work and for deciding to celebrate his birthday with them and the admitted patients.
