President John Dramani Mahama emphasised the government’s commitment to transparency, fiscal restraint, and long-term economic growth during a high-level dialogue with Organised Labour at the Presidency on March 17.
The President emphasised that mutual understanding is essential to the fair division of national resources and reassured labour leaders that the administration is still transparent about the actual status of the economy.
President Mahama also urged the government and organised labour to continue working together, pointing out that the reform process will be carried out gradually through ongoing engagement.

In order to create more jobs, higher pay, and shared prosperity for all Ghanaians, he reiterated that the ultimate goal is to increase worker welfare while expanding the economy.
