Star Oil Limited has declared that its COMAC membership will be suspended immediately.

Tensions in Ghana’s downstream petroleum industry have increased as a result of Star Oil Limited’s announcement of the immediate suspension of its membership in the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), raising questions about the organization’s unity.

The oil marketing company defined the action as an indefinite suspension in a statement released on Wednesday, January 21, emphasising that it was done after due thought.

Star Oil stated that it has been an active member of COMAC for a long time and continues to be its biggest financial contributor, continuously supporting the Chamber’s operations and lobbying efforts.
