Tamale North Parliamentary member Alhassan Suhuyini revealed that he and his National Democratic Congress colleagues want to erase the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration from Ghanaian history, if at all possible.
The worst government in Ghana’s history has been the one led by Akufo-Addo, which he bases his argument on.
The lawmaker clarifies that the previous administration set a very low standard, thus the NDC will not want to contrast their accomplishments with those of the previous administration.
He made this public while he appeared on TV3, which is situated in Accra.
The John Dramani Mahama administration and any next administration won’t lower the standard as much as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo did while in office, Suhuyini clarified.
“H.E. John Dramani Mahama will not do worse than Nana Akufo-Addo. It will be a disaster if any government today or in the future does worse than Nana Akufo-Addo because the bar under Nana Akufo-Addo was too low,” he said.
